All Progressives Congress UK│#STANDSWITHBUHARI

Commenting on the opposition's call to impeach President Muhammadu Buhari, APC UK has urged Nigerians to stand with the President in his fight against corruption- the deadly disease of the past administration.
"Paul David Hewson, known by his stage name “BONO” was right when he called corruption “the biggest disease.”  For many Nigerians, the corrupt leadership of the past administration reduced many of their hope and will to live.  As we now know, trillions of naira was amassed by ministers appointed by Dr Goodluck Jonathan. Money meant to fight Boko Haram Insurgency, build roads, schools, hospitals, create employment and provide basic shelter for millions of Nigerians was accumulated by the privileged few.  A cabal set up of people from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) held, shared and enjoyed what ought to have been shared by Nigerians.

"Truly, corruption is a disease and under the PDP, Nigeria was terribly sick!  Nigerians voted for change and treatment commenced since May 29th, with the election of President Muhammadu Buhari, Professor Yemi Osinbajo and many other APC Governors and NASS members.

"Thankfully, a new hope is alive for many Nigerians at home and abroad. The new sheriff (President Buhari) has made known, his deep intolerance for corruption.

President Buhari, within his first 6 month has wielded out the corrupt leaders who sucked the life out of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).  Nigerians can attest to change even in their daily life with the constant supply of electricity. There is a new vigour and drive from the people because of the will of the President who has given top priorities to issues such as security, employment, power and education, unlike the  leaders of the past administration.

"APC UK draws attention to the Dasuki Gate which many should be aware of. The bewilderment at which the previous government spent the nation’s wealth is shocking and the rate at which it is set to cover up its track is a cause for alarm.

"We have an honest President who is working for all Nigerians; this is one of the many reasons Mr Uche Secondus' call for the President to be impeached must be ignored.

"It is unfortunately that Mr Secondus will ignore the very positive nature of the Nigerian budget which for the first time gave critical attention to Education (N369.6 billion), Defence (N294.5 billion), Health (N221.7 billion) Works, Power and Housing (N433.4 billion). It is clear now who is against Nigeria.

"APC UK urges all honest Nigerians to continue to stand with President Buhari as the fight against corruption goes on."
