CAF beach soccer :Our next match against Ghana is a must win says Olawale

Isiaka Olawale, the Captain Sand Super Eagles, says the team’s next match against Ghana is “a must win“. Olawale said this in Lagos after the team lost to Cote d’ Ivoire in a penalty shoot out that having an outright win would secure his team’s chances at the semi-final stage of the ongoing CAF Beach Soccer Tournament..
The Sand Eagles lost 1-3 in the shoot out after the match ended 4-4 in regulation time, in a very tough Group A match of the ongoing 2016 CAF Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations at the Eko Atlantic Beach Lagos on Wednesday.
”Cote de Ivoire have always been a tough side.

“They have deprived us of winning COPA Lagos twice. “Our group is a tough one honestly.
”As it is now, we must beat Ghana, if we must qualify for the World Cup.
“It is very important that we win and we are ready; we are going to give it our all.
”Everyone in the team is trying to do their part to ensure that we don’t disappoint our fans,
” Olawale said. The winner and the first runners up will qualify for the FIFA beach soccer World Cup in Bahamas, Nassau from April 27 to May 7, 2017. The Sand Super Eagles have won the CAF beach soccer tournament twice – 2007 and 2009, while Madagascar won the 2015 edition.
